Alexander is a freelance journalist based in Honolulu, Hawaii and the assistant editor of Alaska Magazine. He is the former education and business reporter at the Helena Independent Record, the daily newspaper in Montana's capital city. His work has been published in Hakai Magazine, Hana Hou Magazine, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's Bugle Magazine and other outlets.
